The two 1380 W base motors will get you up to 27 MPH and the two 2450 W performance motors will get you up to 33 MPH, but the fully-programmable speed controls are capable of outputting a total of 7060 W (9.46 HP) of continuous power to any aftermarket brushless motors you care to install. BATTERY OPTIONS FOR EVERYONE
Traveler Boards will be sold with one of three different battery systems that can be quick-swapped for one another in seconds. Our primary 274 Wh battery gives up to 18 miles of range and can be separated into three smaller 91 Wh packs for travel to meet airport security standards. For those who want a sleeker look, you can buy our board with two 99 Wh slim batteries that give up to 6 miles of range and are ready to be taken straight through security without disassembly. For those seeking to make the ultimate long-range street shredding machine, the Traveler Board Battery Platform allows you to add virtually any aftermarket battery you want by giving you a platform with no ceiling for adding ridiculously high-capacity batteries that could easily give you over 50 miles of range.
AN UNPARALLELED FOCUS ON RIDER SAFETY
Traveler was founded by a mechanical engineer who worked at Tesla and Zoox to improve the safety and reliability of full-size EV powertrains. As a result, designing for rider safety has been our number one priority right from the start. This is why we've used two independent speed controls to create an electrically redundant powertrain that keeps your brakes and power working if any motor or speed control fails, because we understand just how inconvenient or dangerous complete powertrain failure can be. From the three levels of redundancy of the locking system down to the automotive-grade fiberglass-reinforced belts, every detail of the Traveler Board was designed to keep our riders safe.
ADVENTURE-READY PACK INCLUDED
All Traveler Boards come standard with a custom-tailored backpack designed to securely carry everything you need for your travels. A perfectly-sized compartment safely holds all the board parts so the rest of the pack space can be used for anything else you’ll need on your adventures. Among the many pockets are a dedicated laptop compartment and a large section capable of expanding over 3" to give you an additional 700 cubic inches of space that ensures that you can get your pack dialed for any mission, whether you’re just zipping around town or flying around the globe.
